The challenge

A food hall brings independent traders together, but guests need a clear way to order, collect food and use rewards. Time Out Market needed a branded experience that could support different market operations and local POS configurations.

What they built

Multi-Venue Ordering lets guests choose from participating traders in one basket and checkout, with orders routed to the relevant kitchens. Market configurations include native apps, web ordering, TOM top-up cards, bulk Event Cards, Spin & Win and custom tip routing. Kiosk ordering is used in New York. Most markets use Lightspeed. Features vary by market.

The results

Across Cape Town, Montreal, Union Square, New York (Dumbo) and Vancouver, Time Out Market had 30,537 registered member accounts as at 25 August 2026. Accounts are counted separately across markets and do not measure monthly active users. In July 2026, 41.5% of identified member visits included purchases from more than one trader. Each visit counts one member on one local trading day and can include separate checkouts.
